Brides to Be Look to Barre

I have brides ask me all of the time,“What should I do to get in shape for my wedding?”

Before I knew about barre workouts, I gave advice that went like this: Participate in 45 minutes to 1 hour of cardio, 4 days a week, and lift weights for 45 minutes to 1 hour, 2 additional days per week. Sweat at least 6 days per week.

Now that I know about highly effective barre workouts, my advice remains largely unchanged, with one exception; make a barre workout part of your weekly routine. 2 to 3 would be optimal. Barre workouts sculpt your legs and arms in a way I have not seen paralleled, and they burn 400 to 600 calories in an hour long workout. ¬†Support your efforts with healthy eating, and you’ll be rid of that armpit cleavage in no time!
